Global Aquaculture was founded in 2019, with 25 ponds on a 60 acres land in Selangor, culturing Black Tiger Shrimps (Paneaus Monodon). Global Aquaculture believes and incorporates scientific methods and a high volume manufacturing management system into shrimp farming.

Ir. Saw Kong Beng, CEO & Director

Mr.Saw Kong Beng has 30 years experience in high volume manufacturing industry and was the first Malaysian to chair as General Manager in Agilent Technologies Malaysia in 1994. In 2009, Mr.Saw retired as Vice President of Worldwide Materials Procurement and Logistics of Avago Technologies Malaysia. Prepped with strong management skill sets and familiarity of best business practice, Mr.Saw sets strategic directions and make key decisions within Global Aquaculture, along side integrating high volume manufacturing operation system into aquaculture, guiding the company to break the glass ceiling of the aquaculture industry.
Ahmad Hazizi Bin Aziz, Director of Research & Development

With an unparalleled passion in aquaculture and years of working experience in the Department of Fisheries, Mr. Ahmad Hazizi Bin Aziz is highly familiar with the prawn farming industry, ranging from culturing, planning and development, to biosecurity. Mr.Ahmad had chaired different positions within the Department of Fisheries, Director of Resource Protection, Director of Planning and International Division, Head of Fish Health and Public Health, and Senior Director of Biosecurity. Mr.Ahmad supports Global Aquaculture with technical information in planning, culturing and expansion, making him one of the key assets of the company.
Benjamin Saw Eng Guan, COO

Benjamin has over a decade of operational experience in shrimp farming and has been a dedicated member of the Global Goodway team, having joined the company during its formative years. With a background in farm management and clinical laboratories, he previously contributed his skills at the Medical Research Council (MRC) in The Gambia. Since graduating in the UK in 2016, Benjamin has been an essential part of our organization, making significant contributions to our success.
Chan Peng Loon, Director of Material & Quality

Diploma in Manufacturing Management, Japan Association of Manufacturing Analysis (1997-1998)
Mr. Chan Peng Loon has over 30 years of experience working in multinational companies such as Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Avago Technologies and Broadcom Limited. His last position was a director overlooking Optoelectronics Production Division, Global Materials Procurement, Global Logistics and Global Warehousing. Mr. Chan is highly-skilled in supply chain management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation. He heads the Materials and Quality functions at Global Aquaculture, creating strategic partnership with suppliers to assure quality and supply of key materials at competitive price. Besides, he is also a key driver for IoT implementation.
